Who is the course suitable for?
Anyone looking to begin or continue working in the offshore renewable energy industry. It is a requirement that offshore workers hold a valid, in date GWO Working at Height & Rescue certificate.
This certificate can be refreshed every 2 years by completing the GWO Working at Height Refresher course.
What is covered in the course?
The course covers rescue techniques and procedures which may need to be carried out in emergency situations when working at height when either alone or working as part of a team.
The training deals with all aspects involved when working at height on wind farm projects and ensures learners are taught the importance of following procedure and regulations whilst working in these hazardous environments
Our centre is fully equipped with real world training environments designed to make sure you are comfortable carrying our emergency procedures whilst working from height.
What assessments are there?
Delegates will complete a practical and written multiple choice assessment as part of the GWO Working at Height and Rescue course.
Are there any entry requirements?
We require you to complete a medical assessment form to screen any medical issues you may have.
Must be 18 or over
Must have an appropriate level of English
